PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING RETURNS OR REPLACEMENTS
All U.S. Tape products are inspected before shipment and are believed to be free from defect(s) in material and workmanship. We are anxious to make a fair and equitable adjustment on any tape rule proven defective; however we cannot be responsible for tape rules that have had long excessive wear or damage resulting from accident, misuse and abuse. (Please refer to the sidebar images and information to determine examples of what is not covered by the warranty).
A tool showing defect(s) in material and workmanship in accordance with the standards above should be returned for credit, repair or replacement. Prior return authorization must be obtained through customer service by calling 800-472-8273 or emailing [email protected].
Examples of Damage Not Covered Under Warranty

Item(s) being returned must be in new, saleable condition with original packaging. There will be a 15% restocking fee, and you are responsible for freight charges to send the item(s) back to us.
