Warranty Information
U.S. Tape warrants to the purchaser that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship within the first twelve (12) month period from the date of shipment, such defect(s) will be repaired, replaced or credited at the company's option, without charge for parts or labor directly related to the defect(s).
All U.S. Tape products are inspected before shipment and are believed to be free from defect(s) in material and workmanship. We are anxious to make a fair and equitable adjustment on any tape rule proven defective; however we cannot be responsible for tape rules that have had long excessive wear or damage resulting from accident, misuse and abuse.
Procedure for Handling Returns or Replacements
A tool showing defect(s) in material and workmanship in accordance with the standards above should be returned for credit, repair or replacement. Prior return authorization must be obtained through customer service by calling 800-472-8273.

Kinked Blade
Occurs if blade is misused or not retracted properly. Foreign Material on Blade – Contaminates case interior and interferes with tape rule operation.
Torn or Damaged Blade
Occurs if accidently cut with power tool, stepped on, or retracted at high speed. Worn Out Beyond Expected Life – Bare metal shows on the top, back or edges of blade, usually within the first 8 feet.
Bent End Hook
Occurs when tape rule is dropped at unreasonable heights or accidently crushed by other tools.
Rusty Blade or Hook
Occurs when tape rule has been exposed to moisture for long periods.
